When and How to Pray to St. Joseph of Cupertino
Pray this at the start of your study time and again before the examination. Name the subject and the particular worry you want to entrust to God. His feast is September 18; you can use this prayer for nine days, including September 9–17 in preparation for the feast. Pair prayer with revision, sufficient rest, and honest work.
Why Do Students Pray to St. Joseph of Cupertino?
Students ask his intercession because he struggled with study and trusted God through the examinations required for ordination. EWTN’s biography describes his life as a Franciscan friar and priest. His example encourages students whose progress is slow or whose confidence is fragile. Your worth is greater than a grade.
What Should I Pray Before an Exam?
Ask for peace, understanding, and the ability to recall what you have studied. You can use the prayer above or simply speak to Jesus in your own words. Before entering the room, take a quiet moment, breathe steadily, and entrust your effort to Him. During the exam, work through the questions carefully and follow the rules.
Does This Prayer Replace Studying?
Prayer supports faithful preparation; you still need to study and use the help available to you. Ask a teacher about topics you do not understand, and arrange any approved learning accommodations you need. If the result disappoints you, review what happened and plan the next step. Saintly intercession is not a promise that particular questions or passing marks will be guaranteed.
