May is the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary—a time of new life, beauty, and renewal. As the earth awakens in spring, so too are we invited to awaken our hearts to a deeper love for Our Lady, the Mother of God.
To “crown” Mary is not only an outward devotion, but an interior act of love. It means placing her in a position of honor within our hearts, allowing her to guide us more closely to her Son, Jesus Christ. As the Mother of the Eucharist, Mary always leads us to the altar, where we encounter Christ truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
When we entrust ourselves to Mary, we place our lives under her gentle and loving care. She forms us in humility, purity, and obedience—virtues that prepare us to receive Jesus more fully. Like a mother teaching her child, she quietly leads us away from sin and toward grace.
This May, take time each day to honor Our Lady. Pray the Rosary, offer a small sacrifice, or simply speak to her from your heart. Ask her to reign in your soul, to bring peace where there is unrest, and joy where there is heaviness.
Crown Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. Let her rule in your heart, so that she may lead you ever more deeply to the living water of her Son, Jesus Christ.
