Prayer Requests - Contrition

I pray that I receive the grace of a perfect examination of conscience and then again be graced with a priest to hear my confession with perfect contrition and receive absolution. I pray this as I am preparing to be physically released from prison, and pray to enter the world as a whole servant of God. For years I’ve tried to go to confession with perfect contrition, but often left the confessional and repeated the offences, and other times doubted that I was truly forgiven of the sins since I still had guilt. I am imperfect, but I pray that I may reenter the world with a heart desiring to serve God and His will. Amen. Thank you for praying with me and for me. God bless.
