Devotion to the Child Mary (devotion to “Maria Bambina”) dates back centuries. Our Lady’s parents were Saints Joachim and Anne. Mary was conceived without original sin in the womb of her holy mother St. Anne. It is wonderful to think about Our Lady’s childhood! The Child Mary is a wonderful role model for children to imitate. She was loving and obedient to her mother and her father.
